Counseling – Therapy – Aftercare: Since 2005, the Bremen Outpatient Addiction Support Service has offered counseling and support to young people and adults aged 18 and over who are at risk of or dependent on substance use, as well as their relatives and caregivers. Outpatient addiction rehabilitation has also been part of the service since 2010.
The counseling is free of charge and the counselors are bound by confidentiality. The service is aimed at people with problems related to alcohol, medication, drugs, gambling, or media use, as well as family members, professionals, and other interested parties. The focus is on individualized support tailored to personal needs and available resources. This includes counseling, referrals, and outpatient treatment.
Access is possible early and easily. In addition to abstinence- and cessation-oriented programs, there are also support services for reducing and accompanying substance use.
STEPS – ADHB outpatient rehabilitation is aimed at people with substance-related addictions and/or gambling addictions. The treatment allows them to remain in their familiar social and family environment during therapy.
Following inpatient or full-day outpatient medical rehabilitation, outpatient addiction aftercare can be provided. Additionally, the psychosomatic rehabilitation aftercare program PSYRENA is offered.
