The Bremen Police Prevention Center is your central point of contact for questions concerning crime and traffic prevention as well as victim protection. Our staff will advise you by phone or in person at the Prevention Center – individually, impartially, and tailored to your specific situation.

Consultation services:

• Behavior-oriented prevention: Personal consultation for Bremen residents to promote safety-conscious behavior in everyday life and business.
• Security consulting: Individual recommendations for securing residential properties – regardless of whether you are a tenant or owner. Businesses and public authorities, including projects in the construction phase, also benefit from our security advice.
• Urban crime prevention: Advising municipalities and authorities on preventing areas perceived as unsafe and ensuring urban security. Coordination of planning procedures and preparation of statements and expert reports.
• Traffic prevention: Advice and information provided by our traffic safety advisors to raise awareness of safe mobility.
• Support after a crime (victim protection): Those affected and their relatives can find information from us on the following topics:
  • the course of criminal proceedings,
  • Your rights as a data subject and affected party
  • as well as information on aid and support services
