RAZ – For young people with a future

Dreams, fears, goals! Starting a career is an exciting time for young people. Will I get an internship or apprenticeship? Will I land my dream job?

As society and the professional world undergo significant changes, young people must plan their lives and set the course for their future. They cannot commit to a single career path, as flexibility and initiative are essential. Training programs are evolving, and the ideal of lifelong employment is becoming increasingly fragile. We support young people in navigating this situation and planning their future.

RAZ – Partner for School and Career

We are a team of dedicated social workers with extensive experience in vocational support for young people. RAZ operates counseling centers at three locations in Bremen. Together with you, we will develop a customized counseling program for your class or youth group. By the way: All services offered by the RAZ team are free of charge!

RAZ – For career starters

RAZ fills a gap in career guidance services between school and work. For secondary school students from grade 9 through vocational training, RAZ is a reliable point of contact. To ensure that young people starting their careers are not isolated but professionally supported, we offer:

  • Seminars on career guidance and life planning (in cooperation with schools in the district)
  • individual and group counselling
  • Tutoring
  • Support in finding internships and apprenticeships
  • Training for job applications and recruitment tests

RAZ-Mobil

With our RAZ mobile unit, we offer on-site consultations, for example, in the schoolyard or in front of the youth center. We organize activities on the topic of career choice and provide information about apprenticeships and further education. Do you have contact with youth groups? Do you work with young people who are interested in career and life planning? Then you can request the RAZ mobile unit.
