The Regional Advisory and Support Centers (ReBUZ) Bremen are regionally oriented, school-based advisory and support systems for schools, students, and parents. In addition to individual counseling, individual diagnostics, and preventative measures, the ReBUZ offer school support services and learning groups to help students fulfill their compulsory education requirements.
The ReBUZ Bremen is located at four sites:
- ReBUZ North
- ReBUZ South
- ReBUZ East
- ReBUZ West
The ReBUZ are divided into two departments:
Tasks of the consulting department:
Consultation and diagnostics, as well as support and guidance on school-related issues. Areas of consultation offered at the ReBUZ (Regional Counseling Centers)
- Emotional and social development (behavioral problems, psychological problems, psychosexual development, autism spectrum, violence, bullying, risk of addiction)
- Learning development (learning and performance problems, language and speech, reading and spelling difficulties, dyscalculia)
- Other topics: School avoidance, transitions and questions regarding school career, special talents, crisis management in schools, counseling and support in cases of sexualized violence, DiBS! – Protection against discrimination and counseling for students
Tasks of the education department:
The educational departments (BiA) at the Regional Counseling and Support Centers (ReBUZ) in Bremen offer holistic, educational support for students with significant socio-emotional difficulties. They are aimed at children and young people from primary school up to and including grade 10 who temporarily require a specially structured, individualized learning environment within the framework of the inclusive school system.
