The German Rheumatism League offers support for people with rheumatism. It is represented by over 800 local groups throughout Germany. Here, those affected and lay helpers work together on a voluntary and collaborative basis. The core principles of the German Rheumatism League are self-help and support. Its strength lies in personal initiative. The commitment of people with rheumatic diseases, their families, and the staff makes this unique self-help network possible. The Bremen Rheumatism League (Rheuma-Liga Bremen e.V.) is also part of this network. Currently, over 7,600 members are supported in Bremen.
