The Refugees, Integration & Families department is the competent contact point for refugees in social matters for the entire city of Bremen.

Services:

  • Education and Participation Package
  • Blind assistance – help in other life situations
  • Apply for a Bremen Pass
  • Reduced-price local transport ticket / Bremen city ticket
  • State care allowance for blind and severely disabled people

Office hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. + 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We require the following documents:

  • Proof of your benefit receipt (current benefit statement for unemployment benefit II or valid Bremen Pass from the job center)
  • Identity card, passport or valid residence permit
  • a passport photo
  • Pupils aged 15 and over also require a school certificate
  • Trainees also need a certificate from their training company
