Outpatient addiction counselling

We provide information and advice to people of all ages who are experiencing early, problematic, or dependent substance use. We also offer support to family members and other affected individuals such as employers or teachers.

We work across all addiction categories, addressing difficulties with alcohol, medication, and illegal drugs such as heroin, cocaine, or cannabis. Furthermore, we also offer expert counseling to individuals struggling with problematic use of new media (online addiction) and gambling.

The consultations are of course confidential and can be conducted anonymously upon request.

The central goal of outpatient addiction counseling is to develop, in dialogue with those affected, measures that offer alternatives to addictive behavior and enable participation in social life. This counseling includes, among other things, acute support and crisis intervention, measures for therapy preparation, referral to detoxification clinics or to outpatient and inpatient therapy programs, and clarification of cost coverage for these services.

We also assist in connecting individuals with self-help groups. As a complementary measure, we offer addiction acupuncture treatment to reduce cravings. The duration of counseling depends on individual goals and circumstances. We offer schools, clubs, and youth groups specialized addiction prevention projects, as well as training and support in working with people struggling with addiction.
