The Trans*Beratung Bremen (Trans* Counseling Bremen) is run by the association Trans*Recht eV (Trans* Law). We are a young initiative of trans* activists and their supporters from Bremen and the surrounding area. Trans*Recht eV was founded to support trans* people socially, economically, and legally, and to fight against discrimination against trans* people in law, healthcare, and society.
Since 2014, Trans*Recht eV has been organizing trans* counselling in Bremen, and since 2018 also in the Weser-Ems region of Lower Saxony. We support trans* people with legal cost subsidies for legal proceedings related to trans* gender. Further focal points of our work include the empowerment of trans* people and raising awareness through workshops and lectures. Trans*Recht eV is an active member of the Federal Association Trans* and Transgender Europe.
