Environmental Education Bremen is the central hub for extracurricular environmental education and education for sustainable development. We manage funding programs for extracurricular learning venues and educational projects for children and young people in Bremen. We connect providers and users of environmental education programs. We organize professional development opportunities. And we implement projects on specific topics and target groups.

When was the last time you took a trip to the forest with your children? A canoe trip on the Hamme River or a bike ride through the Wümme meadows? Being active outdoors together, observing animals and plants, and enjoying a picnic in the fresh air is healthy and a wonderful shared experience. The Bremen Environmental Education Coordination Office compiles open events for children, teenagers, and families, as well as tips and suggestions for experiencing nature and sustainability for families.
