The women's center of Solidarische Hilfe eV invites you to exchange ideas and network every Friday between 2 pm and 4 pm over a cup of tea or coffee.
We want to address, in particular, unemployed women*, women* in poorly paid jobs, women* without their own income, and women* in transitional situations who are looking for advice or would like to support each other.
The following questions may play a role:
- How do I talk to authorities and offices, and what are my rights?
- What benefits can I apply for (unemployment benefit I/II, housing benefit, basic income support, child benefit, parental allowance, maintenance advance) and what do I need to consider?
- How can I become financially independent, and what paths lead there?
- How can I better manage with little money and how could I improve my financial situation?
- What can I do about prejudices against "Hartz IV recipients*", living in the "wrong" neighborhood, etc.?
- What social rights do I have, and what rights do I have as a woman*? How can I enforce these rights?
- How can I react when other people try to manipulate me with money or create financial dependence?
