Since October 1, 2007, the motto has been: Meet people, have fun, discover your own talents, and make a great impression with the Bremen World Theatre. We've made it our mission to create a weekly space for young people from all over Bremen to make theatre. A key contribution to combating racism and xenophobia is dismantling mutual prejudices. However, everyday life and leisure activities often lack the space and time to actively participate in intercultural encounters.
The project is based on the premise that collaborative theatre-making by young people from different nations is a form of encounter that breaks new ground; that is, it overcomes boundaries, creates identity and is fun.
