The Circus Theater Tohuwabohu has been an offering of the Bürgerhaus Bremen-Vegesack since 1988.
What began with barely 20 young people has now become a huge project with over 180 children and teenagers aged between one and 25. A group for adults has also been established for about six years. Training takes place in 15 groups from Monday to Thursday, focusing on different age groups and topics.
While the youngest children participate in creative movement activities to explore their own bodies and abilities, older children develop a variety of skills. Unicycling, juggling, and plate spinning are on the program, as well as aerial acrobatics, tightrope walking, and building pyramids. The circus aims to allow the creative potential of children and young people to unfold within its "space for new circus and theater art," always linked to the joy of movement.
