The process guides "guide" children and young people (and their relatives) through the integration assistance system. They provide support with applications and the realization of entitlements and rights.
The role of the case managers is to inform and advise young people with a (potential) disability and their legal guardians, and to support them through application processes with various authorities. The case managers also assist youth welfare offices in preparing for "inclusive child and youth services.".
From January 1, 2028, all support services for young people with and without disabilities will be consolidated under the umbrella of youth welfare services. Eligibility: Young people under 27 years of age who are entitled to, or may be entitled to, integration assistance due to a (potential) disability are eligible for support from case managers. The counselling service is therefore not only aimed at children and adolescents, i.e., minors, but also at young adults.
Furthermore, the offer is aimed at the legal representatives of the young people. It should be emphasized that the entitlement to support and assistance does not require that an existing or imminent disability has already been diagnosed.
You can contact us in person, by phone, or in writing. If available, you can bring important documents such as approval and/or rejection notices from authorities, certificates of care level, or diagnostic reports to the consultation.
You can contact us, the process guides:
- for information about integration assistance
- to assist with the application process
- to answer questions throughout the entire application process and, if necessary, to discuss further steps
- if you would like support with appointments
The consultation is voluntary, independent, and free of charge. We only provide information upon request.
