You can come to the counselling centers for children, young people and families in Bremen with anything that is on your mind until you are about 21 years old.

What topics could these be?

  • This could include conflicts at home, but also topics like heartbreak, discouragement, stress with friends, or even traumatic experiences that you can't shake. You are welcome with all your topics and feelings. You decide what we talk about.
  • Sometimes everything feels chaotic and is hard to put into words. We support you in sorting things out and figuring out what's important to you right now. We listen to you and work together to consider what the best support can be for your situation and your issue.
  • We are bound by confidentiality. You don't have to give your name if you don't want to, and you can get to know us at an initial appointment. If you don't want to come alone, you are welcome to bring someone you trust, such as a friend.
  • You can send us an email or call us and we will arrange an appointment as soon as possible.
  • The consultation is free.

There are four advice centers: North, East, South and Central/West.
Depending on which district you live in, one of them is responsible so that you don't have to travel across the whole city.

  • Bremen-North – if you live in Blumenthal, Vegesack or Burglesum
  • Bremen Mitte/West– if you live in Blockland, Gröpelingen, Walle, Findorff, Mitte, the eastern suburbs or in the port area
  • Bremen-East – if you live in Horn-Lehe, Borgfeld, Oberneuland, Vahr or Schwachhausen
  • Bremen-South – if you live in Huchting, Neustadt, Obervieland, Strom, Seehausen or Woltmershausen
