CraftWerk in the NUNATAK

New creative meeting place for women at NUNATAK

CraftWerk is the name of a new open creative meeting place for women at NUNATAK, a location of QUARTIER gGmbH at Kapitän-Dallmann-Straße 2 in Blumenthal. Starting in January, up to eight women from Blumenthal and the surrounding area can work together in a textile workshop twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, under artistic guidance, free of charge and without registration. On Thursdays, the café is also open: over coffee and tea, there's space for spontaneous and pre-arranged meetings, for crafting, knitting, chatting, experimenting, brainstorming, getting to know each other, and much more, in a relaxed exchange with the workshop participants.

On Thursday, December 12th and Thursday, December 19th, from 9 am to 1 pm, everyone is welcome to come and try it out. At various stations, they can learn about techniques and machines, gather upcycling ideas, try their hand at it, and take home a product or two along with plenty of inspiration.
