The focus of "Zappelfinger" is on the playful learning of sign language for parents and children aged 0 to 3 years.

Each week we learn new hand signs (gestures). These signs naturally flow into our games and conversations. Our meetings are fun and varied: sometimes we play indoors in our community rooms, sometimes we go outside together.

Why use hand signals for young children? For the youngest (under 1 year): Babies can often show what they need with their hands even before they learn to speak (e.g., "milk" or "tired"). This saves a lot of stress in everyday life. For older children (1 to 3 years): The signs help children understand words better. They learn new words faster and can express their feelings more clearly.

All families are welcome! This offer is for everyone. It doesn't matter what language you speak or what kind of support your child needs. We look forward to seeing you!

Since the number of participants for this group is limited, prior registration is required.

The "Zappelfinger" (Fidgety Fingers) program is offered by the "Heimat für Kinder" (Home for Children) of the St. Matthew's Church in Bremen-Huchting.
