Day center for homeless women

Centrally located in Bremen's city center is the "frauenzimmer" day center. Women who live without the security of their own apartment or who are otherwise in need are warmly welcomed here. Every woman who comes to us can access our services anonymously and without bureaucracy. The day center is run by women for women. This means that only women work at the frauenzimmer. In addition to the full-time staff, there are a number of volunteers.

• Find contacts and advice
• shower and wash hands
• Eat cheaply
• make phone calls, use the internet
• set up a postal address
• participate in creative activities
• attend a doctor's appointment
• use the clothing bank
• to relax

What else we offer:

• Postal addresses: Women without a fixed address who need to be reachable by the job center or employment agency can have a postal address set up. Registration with the police as defined by the registration law is not possible.
• Medical care: Tuesdays, 12-2 pm. No prior registration is necessary. Emergency medical care is available without proof of health insurance.

• Support: For women in urgent need of a place to sleep and a safe haven, the emergency shelter for women is located right next door. Admission is possible 24/7. Telephone: 0421 34967 4523
