Prenatal acupuncture is a healing method of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the goal of optimally preparing you physically and mentally for childbirth during pregnancy. Acupuncture can positively influence the birth process, as it promotes cervical ripening, coordinates contractions, and reduces labor pain. In addition to alleviating pregnancy discomforts, it aims to help you overcome any anxieties and consciously strengthen your trust in your own body's abilities.

For prenatal acupuncture, very fine needles are usually inserted once a week from the 36th week of pregnancy until the start of labor in order to stimulate the flow of energy.
