Do you also find it difficult to talk about mental illness in your family? Do you sometimes lack the words and explanations for mental health, crises, and illnesses?

Kidstime is a workshop for parents and children in families affected by mental illness.

Did you know that…

• Do children whose parents suffer from mental illness have a significantly higher risk of developing mental health problems themselves?
• Can comparatively small interventions and support measures counteract these risks?

What can we offer you?

We offer a safe environment where families can exchange information about mental illness in an open atmosphere.

Group discussions are held for parents, and children and teenagers are offered playful and creative activities (theatre games, artistic workshops). Refreshments, snacks, and a shared pizza lunch are also always part of the program.

What do we want to achieve?

The aim is to counteract feelings of isolation, strengthen trust and self-confidence, provide information, and facilitate the exchange of experiences. We also answer questions about mental illness and dispel prejudices.

What can we promise you?

We promise confidentiality. You and your children decide whether and with whom from our team you would like to discuss your issues.

Your child's needs are our top priority. We take any concerns regarding your child's welfare very seriously and will contact you directly if you have any. You are also welcome to bring along trusted professionals to help ease your child's transition into the group.
