Community for parents of disabled children

Mein Herz lacht e. V. supports parents of children with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or unclear diagnoses. The focus is on the needs of the parents. The services aim to provide relief, facilitate exchange with other affected families, and help them better manage daily life. Services include regional parent groups, online support groups, seminars and workshops, as well as individual support with questions about childcare and respite care options. If needed, the association also refers parents to appropriate counseling and support services.

In Bremen, there is a local parents' group where parents can regularly exchange experiences, support each other, and make new connections. The meetings are facilitated by parents who have been through similar situations and are tailored to the needs of the participants. Parents can share their experiences, receive information, and connect with other families in similar circumstances. The goal is to prevent isolation and strengthen families in the long term.

Seminars offered by Mein Herz lacht e. V. are free for members, and membership costs only 48 euros per year. Once you become a member, you can participate in all seminars and, of course, take advantage of all other services.
