Children's Second Hand Shop
In 2006, the Find.us second-hand shop was founded on the initiative of several mothers from the mother-and-child center, in the former premises of the Christian Parents' Initiative. Thanks to the considerable commitment and financial support of the Lions Club Bremen Roland and the Johanniter Relief Association, the shop was furnished and opened.
To mark its 10th anniversary, the shop underwent extensive renovations with the help of Sparkasse employees as part of the "Gemeinsam gut" (Together for Good) initiative. The shop is located in Findorff, on the main shopping street. Findorff is a vibrant neighborhood not far from Bremen's city center. Many young families with children live in the immediate vicinity of the shop.
The necessary goods are donated, so we are always happy to receive well-preserved children's clothing and toys! A team of volunteers receives the donations, sorts and manages the items, and sells them during opening hours.
Donations of goods:
We greatly appreciate donations in good condition.
- We accept children's clothing in all sizes and styles
- We accept intact children's toys of all kinds
Donations can be dropped off at any time during our opening hours.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept:
for safety reasons:
- Bicycle seats and child car seats
- small electrical appliances
- bicycle helmets
Due to space constraints:
- stroller
- Bottle warmers and sterilizers
For hygienic reasons:
- breast pumps
- baby bottles
- Toilet seats
- potty
for educational reasons:
- Books and media that are harmful to young people
Volunteers
