Familienbildung bereitet Menschen auf das Zusammenleben in Partnerschaft und Familie vor und fördert die elterliche Erziehungskompetenz. Sie soll dazu beitragen, dass Erziehung, Beziehungen und das Zusammenleben in Familien besser gelingen. Familienbildung ist Aufgabe der präventiven Kinder- und Jugendhilfe und soll Eltern und Erziehende in der Wahrnehmung ihrer erzieherischen Verantwortung unterstützen und die Ressourcen zur Gestaltung des Familienalltags stärken. \n

Warum ist Familienbildung wichtig?

Familienbildung soll dazu beitragen, dass Erziehung, Beziehungen und das Zusammenleben in Familien besser gelingen. Denn das Fundament für ein selbstbestimmtes Leben wird in der Familie gelegt. Eltern geben ihren Kindern Liebe, Halt und Anregungen; sie sind Vorbild und sicherer Hafen zugleich. Das fordert viele Eltern heraus. Im Familienalltag stellen sich Mütter und Väter mit jedem Entwicklungsschritt des Kindes Fragen – nicht immer finden sie Antworten in der Familie oder im Freundeskreis. \n

Was macht das Netzwerk Familienbildung in Bremen?

Das Netzwerk Familienbildung findet derzeit zweimal jährlich statt, das familiennetz bremen organisiert es in enger Abstimmung mit dem Referat 21 bei der Senatorin für Arbeit, Soziales, Jugend und Integration. Es steht allen interessierten Kräften aus der Stadt Bremen offen und ist interdisziplinär besetzt. Es greift aktuelle Themen der Familienbildung und -förderung auf und dient dem Austausch, der Information und der Entwicklung gemeinsamer Projekte. Es arbeitet ergebnis- und zielorientiert. \n

As a specialist agency for family education, we want to help you as a professional to learn about offers for families, but also to participate in family policy discussions and exchange ideas.

Family education prepares people for life in partnerships and families and promotes parental competence. It aims to contribute to more successful parenting, relationships, and family life. Family education is a task of preventive child and youth services and is intended to support parents and caregivers in fulfilling their parental responsibilities and to strengthen the resources available to them for managing everyday family life.

Parents provide their children with love, support, and stimulation; they are both role models and a safe haven. This presents many parents with challenges. In everyday family life, mothers and fathers face questions with every developmental step their child takes – and they don't always find answers within their family or circle of friends.
The Family Education Network currently meets twice a year. Family Network Bremen organizes it in close cooperation with Department 21 of the Senator for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth and Integration. It is open to all interested parties from the city of Bremen and has an interdisciplinary membership. It addresses current topics in family education and support and serves as a platform for exchange, information, and the development of joint projects.
