Offers for the whole family

In Bremen, there are meeting places, activities, and support services that you can use together as a family. Everything that makes everyday family life easier, more colorful, and more relaxed – right in your neighborhood.
Three people, two adults and a child, are each holding onto the person in front of them.
  • In many neighborhoods, you'll find open parent-child meetups, playgroups, family cafés, community centers, and outdoor activities. Feel free to drop by – no registration required, regardless of your family's background. You can find lots of spontaneous tips on our Instagram channel.

  • Yes, absolutely! The services are explicitly aimed at all families: single parents, blended families, rainbow families, foster and adoptive families, large families, and shared care situations. Every family structure is welcome.

  • Yes. Many family centers and community meeting places offer open playtimes, creative activities, or family events where siblings of all ages can participate. Parks, libraries, and museums also offer family-friendly programs.

  • Family centers, early intervention services, parenting advice centers, and social services offer confidential conversations and practical support. You don't need to have a "big problem"—even small uncertainties are welcome here.

  • Absolutely. Most programs welcome any caregiver who accompanies your child in their daily life. The only important thing is that the child feels comfortable – it doesn't matter who accompanies them.

  • We post tips for family weekends every month on our Instagram channel. You can also find ideas and places for families in the city of Bremen here:
