Center for Addiction and Sexual Health

AIDS-Hilfe Bremen e.V. offers counseling, support, prevention, and easily accessible testing for HIV, hepatitis, and other sexually transmitted infections. The services are available to people in diverse life situations and are confidential and easily accessible.

The offer includes:

• open personal, telephone and digital consultation
• Simple rapid tests for HIV, hepatitis and syphilis
• Support with questions about sexual health and sexually transmitted infections
• Outpatient assisted living and intensive assisted living
• Support in case of financial difficulties and securing housing
• Help with removals, renovations and other social burdens
• Support with medical care and antiretroviral therapy
• Support for families, single parents and their children
• Nursing care and end-of-life care as needed
• Counseling and support for people with drug use, multiple infections or mental illnesses

The counselling service is aimed, among others, at men who have sex with men, homosexual and bisexual people, heterosexual people, trans people, migrants, and people with HIV, hepatitis, or other health and social burdens.

Furthermore, AIDS-Hilfe Bremen eV conducts prevention and awareness events in schools, youth centers, businesses, at public events, and in various communities, and offers training for professionals. Since we receive no government funding, we only offer events in government-run facilities for a fee.
