We, the Bremen 1860 sports club, as the largest sports club in Bremen, want to offer the people of our city a comprehensive range of sports, health, and leisure activities based on non-profit principles. For us, physical activity is a means of leading a healthy lifestyle.
We want to offer sports activities for all segments of the population, age groups, genders, and social groups. We want satisfied members who appreciate both the quality of our offerings and the organization so much that they spread the word and spark interest in others.
We have developed a high-quality range of sports, health, and leisure activities, which we are constantly improving and expanding. We are continuously developing new ideas for physical activity.
We provide children and young people with social experiences. We bring young and old together, thus bridging the generation gap. We integrate people from all over the world.
We achieve this through professional organizational structures that also take into account the needs of volunteers. Constructive collaboration between paid staff and volunteers is essential.
The hallmarks of our club are our own modern and diverse sports halls, predominantly permanent sports teachers, motivated and well-trained instructors, and a full-time management team.
We want to be better than others. That's why we constantly review structures and procedures from other areas, such as business.
