The city of Bremen has many Catholic parishes, counselling centers, support services, schools, daycare centers and church institutions for young and old.
Catholics from more than 120 nations, with diverse languages, mentalities, and cultures, create a vibrant parish life. Catholic-run schools and kindergartens are located in close proximity to the parishes and are open to children of all faiths. Specific pastoral care services complement church life.
The Catholic Parish Association in Bremen has existed since 1990. The Diocese of Osnabrück founded it due to the city's unique pastoral situation.
