Promoting democracy, fostering diversity, and preventing ideologies of inequality are the core focuses of the Democracy Center. It offers educational, advisory, and training programs for victims, professionals, and the general public. Among other things, it provides support in cases of right-wing, racist, and antisemitic violence, as well as assistance with leaving extremist groups.
The Democracy Center and its affiliated advisory services are funded by the federal program "Democracy Live!" and the Senator for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth and Integration of the State of Bremen. The federal program runs from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2032. More information about the federal program can be found on the following page: Democracy Live!
