Training

In the field of education, the Education Center of the Economy in the Lower Weser region (BWU) has been committed for years to promoting in-company and out-of-company training.

The employees utilize the numerous established business contacts and collaborations with training-relevant stakeholders in the region to enable young people to complete dual training and achieve a successful outcome.

In doing so, we are contributing to improving the situation on the training market and to securing the skilled worker supply in the state of Bremen.

Since 1999, in close coordination with the Employment Agency and the Bremen Job Center, we have been offering extra-company training measures (BaE integrative and cooperative) for young adults in various commercial training occupations.

Specifically for single mothers and fathers, part-time, off-site training courses are offered, tailored to the specific needs of this target group.

The BWU carries out a number of training projects that offer a wide range of opportunities for job seekers and provide various services for companies.

Separate courses are continuously offered by the Chamber of Commerce to prepare for the intermediate and final examinations for various commercial apprenticeships; these courses are conducted by experienced specialists.

Also on offer are needs-based and qualification-oriented further training courses as well as suitable preparation courses for the external final examination in various commercial professions.
