Since Förderwerk was founded in 1985, we have been carrying out projects for employment, education, and training for people disadvantaged in the labor market.
Förderwerk advocates for the right to work and promotes this right through socially beneficial projects for employment and training. In doing so, we enable our participants to participate in social life and prevent social exclusion.
Our goal is the integration of participants into the general labor market. Since this is difficult or only temporarily achievable for a consistently large group of long-term unemployed individuals due to barriers to employment and a lack of jobs for low-skilled workers, we advocate for a publicly funded social labor market in Bremen.
