Waldorf education

The Waldorf School Bremen Osterholz is attended by students from grades 1 to 13. As part of an integrated comprehensive school based on the Waldorf educational concept, all students remain in the same class throughout their schooling. There is no grade repetition; students receive a detailed learning progress report annually, which is supplemented by a report card with grades starting in grade 10.

Students can obtain their Abitur (university entrance qualification) after grade 13, their Mittlerer Schulabschluss (intermediate school leaving certificate) after grade 11, and their Hauptschulabschluss (lower secondary school leaving certificate) after grade 10.

The Waldorf kindergarten Bremen Mitte is represented with a group on the school grounds, so that the care of the young children is also possible under one roof.

The “Workshop for Health, Education and Culture” in House 7 complements the offerings of our school with parent courses, counselling and therapy.
