District: Neustadt

Various social service providers work hand in hand under the umbrella of the neighborhood center. Together, they implement programs tailored to the needs of the district. Below, we introduce you to the organizations and facilities located within our center.

The Huckelriede neighborhood center is centrally located in the district and well connected to public transport via the "Huckelriede" stop. It is also easily accessible on foot and by bicycle, and the Werdersee lake is just a few minutes' walk away.

The entrance to the neighborhood center can be reached via a wide staircase or a ramp.

Dining at Rotheo
: Rotheo is the inclusive bistro of the Martinsclub Bremen e. V. Here, people with and without disabilities work together. Rotheo is a meeting place for many people in the neighborhood, a place to chat, have lunch, take a coffee break, or simply socialize.

This is a place where everyone comes together and enjoys themselves. Guests can expect fresh, homemade food at reasonable prices.

Rotheo Special:
Fancy eating out for lunch again? We think everyone should be able to afford it. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we offer a delicious daily special for €2.50.

Living and participation at the Martinsclub

Eighteen people with disabilities live in the community center. Each has their own apartment, which they furnish themselves. The Martinsclub Bremen e. V. is responsible for their support. The goal for all residents is to live as independently as possible.

Our "Neighborhood|Living" concept also enables people with a high need for assistance to live in the neighborhood center.

In addition to providing housing, the Martinsclub eV also organizes many activities at the community center. These include the inclusive disco “Marie tanzt” (Marie Dances), as well as a karaoke night every two weeks.
