SoFa eV / Youth and Counseling Center Walle

The Walle Youth and Counseling Center sees itself as a place where children and young people, especially those aged between 10 and 16, are enabled to develop their personality, as well as to find and test their position and role in society.

Young visitors are offered a range of activities, including sports, music, and creative crafts.

Here, the focus is less on performance and more on exploring and experiencing personal abilities and needs. Experiential learning serves as the foundation of our work.

This approach leads to intensive relationships between visitors and staff, enabling young people to be receptive and open to further offers and support.

This year, in addition to the open-door policy, the main focus was on expanding the music area of the house, holding various events (concerts, discos, breakdancing, etc.) and numerous projects.

Furthermore, emphasis was placed on new media to reach the target group more quickly and effectively. This was very well received by the young people and has led to them now communicating with us online, having a say, and contributing to the design.
