District: Mitte

Centrally located in Bremen's city center, the "Buchte" has been a meeting place for young people from all over the city for years. It houses the offices of our youth education officers, a kitchen with a small living room, a seminar room, a team room for paid staff and volunteers, and the T-Stube: the youth café on the ground floor.

The bay is a meeting place for many self-organized groups working on different topics: from anti-fascism, feminism, climate justice, to cooking, homework help, organizing concerts, youth policy, planning events, or playing or reading together.

The bay offers young people and young adults a self-managed space for meetings, networking and activities.

Anyone who has completed youth leader training and participates in a key seminar with us can meet independently with friends or with the project group in the youth center – in a self-opening manner, the center is open every day of the week, around the clock.

Everyone who uses the house meets once a month in the house assembly to talk about organizational matters, events, plans and ideas.

In addition, there are regular, open events in the bay where you can simply drop by.

Want to meet up at the Buchte? Have questions about the rooms? Got new ideas? The house meeting takes place every first Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Buchte. Feel free to just drop by.
