The children's and youth center on Ratzeburger Straße of the Bremen Nature Friends Youth

Unassuming, but impossible to miss for our children and teenagers – a small house in the courtyard of an apartment building near Waller Bahnhof: the Ratzeburger Straße Children's and Youth Center. Our programs are diverse. In the "Ratze" (or affectionately called "the shed"), kindergarten children meet in the mornings, followed immediately by after-school children, and sometimes simultaneously, or even until closing time, teenagers. And when there's no school, they all come at once – all under one roof, international, and ranging in age from 1.5 to about 25.

Activities and Excursions
In addition to regular opening hours and group activities, regular events take place in the city (e.g., a scavenger hunt in the city park) or excursions. These are planned and arranged together with the children and young people at the center.

Holiday Programs
: We offer holiday programs during school breaks. The activities and excursions are planned with our regular visitors. Information about the various programs will be published here before the respective school holidays.

The play container is a resource for children and teenagers in the Walle district. It is open three afternoons a week. Participation is voluntary. In addition to games and equipment rental, group outings are planned, and activities on the school playground are organized and carried out.

Monday-Friday from 2 pm.
And what do we do in the shed? We laugh, argue, chat, play, hang out, cry, dance, discover, learn, do homework, discuss, listen to music, get creative, write applications and look for internships and apprenticeships, play soccer, ride bikes or canoes, go swimming or climbing, watch a movie or go to the theater, celebrate parties, listen to each other, or are simply there and meet friends. In the shed, you can do all the things that children and young people want to do.

Youth Group:
Every Monday from 5 pm to 8 pm, from grade 6 and up.
We meet to cook, play games, listen to music, hang out, chat, play football and basketball, and much more. We also plan joint excursions and activities.
From grade 6 and up

Girls' group for ages 8 and up.
Every Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm
. The house belongs to the girls only. The girls decide what happens.

Boys' group (ages 8 and up)
Every Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm
. The house belongs to the boys only. The boys decide what happens.
