Neighborhood development
Your first point of contact for all questions regarding neighborhood development, projects, funding, and events are always the neighborhood managers directly on site. They are employed by the Office for Social Services and assigned to the social centers. Their offices are located in the neighborhood centers or other central locations within the WiN areas.
For the areas receiving funding under the state program "Lively Neighborhoods," special neighborhood coordinators have been appointed. These coordinators are employees of independent organizations who have been commissioned by the Senator for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth and Integration to provide neighborhood support for the LLQ areas.
Kattenturm
Shaping the future together
Kattenturm is one of fourteen city districts that are slated to become even more attractive and vibrant through additional funding from the WiN (Living in Neighborhoods), LOS (Local Capital for Social Purposes), and Social City Investment programs. The Kattenturm district has its own neighborhood management team, which supports and oversees this positive development.
One of our important tasks is to take up suggestions and ideas from citizens and local stakeholders and to initiate new projects together with them.
The central task of the neighborhood management is to initiate a strengthening of the neighborhoods and an improvement in the living situation for the citizens in the Kattenturm district.
