Small daycare center with 30 childcare places
The Kinderhaus Stadtwerder is the seventh childcare facility of the German Red Cross in Bremen and was opened in November 2018.
It lies in the Neustadt district on a peninsula between the Weser river and the Werdersee lake, not far from the "upside-down chest of drawers," the Weser beach, and the Nautical College. A completely new district has sprung up here, with numerous single-family homes, rental apartments, and senior living options.
We are a small children's center with 30 places. In our kindergarten group, we offer places for 20 children aged 2.8 years until they start school. In our nursery group, we care for 10 children aged 1-3 years.
Both groups have two group rooms each, equipped with age-appropriate and stimulating play materials. The kindergarten has an additional movement room, while the nursery has a cozy sleeping room. The children are outdoors every day, either in the kindergarten's outdoor area or at nearby playgrounds.
Rituals and consistent daily routines provide children with security and help them settle in. Every child has different needs, individual strengths, and weaknesses. We try to meet each child exactly where they are in their development and support them accordingly. Good, collaborative partnerships with parents are also particularly important to us.
