Neighborhood development

Your first point of contact for all questions regarding neighborhood development, projects, funding, and events are always the neighborhood managers directly on site. They are employed by the Office for Social Services and assigned to the social centers. Their offices are located in the neighborhood centers or other central locations within the WiN areas.

For the areas receiving funding under the state program "Lively Neighborhoods," special neighborhood coordinators have been appointed. These coordinators are employees of independent organizations who have been commissioned by the Senator for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth and Integration to provide neighborhood support for the LLQ areas.

The neighborhood management office is located in Q:West at Gröpelinger Heerstraße 178/180. From Monday to Friday, it is the first point of contact for all interested project sponsors, facilities and institutions that want to get involved in the neighborhood within the framework of the funding programs.

At the same time, it serves as a contact point for residents, who are always welcome to bring their problems, concerns, and ideas for change. If you want to be sure someone is available to speak with you, it's best to make an appointment by phone. The neighborhood management team also attends many off-site meetings, during which time the offices are closed.
