District: Osterholz

The OTe Education Center has existed since 2002 and is part of the Osterholz-Tenever Mothers' Center eV.

We see it as our task to open up prospects for the long-term unemployed in the Tenever district, one of Bremen's districts with the highest unemployment rate.

One target group that is particularly important to us is women, especially single mothers with foreign roots, for whom we offer courses for career orientation and pre-qualification to enter the job market.

Our services (language courses, tutoring, courses for career orientation and pre-qualification, internship placement, excursions to companies) are modules that build on each other and support the individual path of our participants towards social and professional integration in the neighborhood.
