The Regional Advisory and Support Center South (ReBUZ Süd) is a contact point for students, parents, and schools in southern Bremen. It offers advice and support for questions, difficulties, and challenges related to school, learning, and the personal development of children and young people.
The tasks of the Regional Support and Education Center (ReBUZ) include counseling, diagnostics, support, and prevention. In addition, they offer school support measures and learning groups for students who temporarily require extra assistance. Parents and students can contact the ReBUZ South with various concerns. Counseling is available for learning and performance problems, reading and spelling difficulties (dyslexia), math difficulties, and questions related to language and speech. Other topics include school avoidance, giftedness, educational pathways, and transitions between schools.
The ReBUZ also offers support with questions regarding socio-emotional development. This includes, for example, autism, violence, addiction, and psycho-sexual development. Counseling and guidance are also available in cases of discrimination, sexualized violence, and crises in the school environment.
The ReBUZ Süd (Regional Office for Social Services and Education South) is responsible for the districts and schools in Bremen's southern districts. A telephone consultation service allows for initial contact – anonymously if desired. Together, they can determine what kind of advice and support is appropriate for the individual situation.
