Private preschool and qualified preschool instruction: We prepare your preschooler for successful learning in primary school. Lessons take place once a week in the afternoon.

Our three learning areas:

• Preparing for reading and writing
• Speaking and listening
• Dealing with quantities, shapes, sizes and numbers

Furthermore, we promote your child's concentration and fine motor skills and foster their self-confidence. Starting school represents a significant transition for children. While play is the primary focus in kindergarten, primary school places greater demands on cognitive abilities. A smooth start to school life lays the foundation for their entire future school career.

SCHULSTART eV offers preschool children targeted training to prepare them for the demands of school. SCHULSTART does not compete with kindergarten, but rather gradually guides children from preschool learning methods to the specific learning styles of primary school. In addition to developing concentration skills, the program also focuses on developing language and mathematical abilities. This includes a basic understanding of quantities, initial exposure to numbers, sounds, letters, and words, as well as practicing correct oral language use.

Tasks and objectives

Based on their individual learning experiences and abilities, the children in the preschool class should acquire basic skills and abilities for successful learning in school.

Specifically, it should/should

• their concentration and memory skills are enhanced
• their understanding of tasks further developed
• their willingness and ability to speak in the group was promoted
• their gross and fine motor skills are further developed
• their visual, auditory and tactile perception and differentiation skills are trained
• their ability for self-control is expanded; their willingness to learn is fostered and awakened;
• Their self-confidence is built up and strengthened.

The preschool class does not anticipate the tasks, goals and methods of primary school teaching, but rather leads to the working methods and content of primary school.

In preschool, a stimulating, anxiety-free learning environment is a given, where even the smallest learning progress is recognized and acknowledged. Children should be made aware of their achievements, but not overemphasized; weaknesses are not seen as flaws, but rather as opportunities for further learning.
