SOS Children's Village Centre
Our KiDoZ (short for Kinderdorf-Zentrum, meaning Children's Village Center) community and family center is the family-friendly meeting place in Bremen's Neustadt district. Our 80 full-time and volunteer staff members support, advise, and promote children and families.
Our courses and events are primarily aimed at families with children up to six years old, but of course other guests are also very welcome. To ensure that as many families as possible can benefit from our offerings, most courses and events are free of charge.
If there are costs involved, such as in the secondhand shop, the family café, or for special courses, the prices are designed to be family-friendly. And families who rely on state financial assistance receive even lower prices and free meals for children with the KiDoZ card .
The KiDoZ is primarily financed through donations.
Family Café at KiDoZ:
The family café at KiDoZ is the central meeting point of our neighborhood and family center. With a large play area, additional tables for children and families, and a children's step next to the cash register, it quickly becomes clear that our young guests and their parents are our top priority.
Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or coffee and cake – our kitchen team prepares all the food themselves and pays attention to a healthy and balanced diet. This mindfulness begins with the careful selection of our suppliers.
