Your babywearing consultant in Bremen-North and surrounding areas
Do you want to carry your child? Does your child want to be carried, but you don't have free hands or your back hurts? Whatever the situation, I'd be happy to show you different ways to carry your child. It doesn't matter if you're pregnant or already have a child or children.
Together, we'll work out what feels comfortable for you as a babywearing couple. As a first step, I'll introduce you to the colorful, and sometimes overwhelming, world of babywearing, from wraps to structured carriers. We'll find what feels right for you.
Next, you'll learn your preferred tying technique or how to carry your baby with your chosen carrier, using a doll as a guide. Only when you feel confident will you begin using the system with your child.
If you already own a carrier or wrap, I'll show you what you can do with it. We'll also conduct a carrier check and adjust it to fit you both perfectly. This way, you won't need to buy anything new.
The consultation is manufacturer-independent; you can try out many different brands, and it's important to me that it suits you!
If you're still pregnant, I'd also be happy to show you how you can relieve your back, your pregnant belly, or your hips with a wrap or ring sling.
AFS breastfeeding counseling
Are you having trouble latching on? Is your breast sore? Or have you been supplementing with a bottle and would like to gradually increase or even exclusively breastfeed?
Together, we'll look at your breastfeeding management. We'll find solutions to make breastfeeding more comfortable for you again. I'll show you how to supplement in a way that's compatible with breastfeeding. It's not always easy, but if you'd like to take this path, I'll support you within the scope of my volunteer work.
Do you have questions about introducing solids? Are you looking for something other than just purees? I can help you with this, drawing on my experience and training.
I'm currently undergoing training with the AFS (Association of Independent Breastfeeding Support Groups) and have a large professional group supporting me there.
