Advice and measures for qualification, further training and retraining
To work successfully, we maintain constant contact with local companies, employment agencies and job centers, and of course with our clients and course participants. This results in the continuous adaptation of our course offerings, training concepts, and content, so that we can offer our participants/clients the best possible opportunities in the job market.
Our course offerings do not include an extensive catalog of standardized measures, but rather programs tailored to the labor market that promise successful integration into work or training.
Lecturers and coaches
In addition to our permanent teaching staff covering general subject areas, we rely on the current knowledge and practical experience of freelance instructors and coaches. All instructors who teach in our courses have qualified training in their respective subject areas and experience in adult education. They ensure high-quality training.
Rooms
All our training facilities are centrally located and easily accessible by public transport.
Material equipment
The basic equipment in the classrooms for theoretical instruction includes a whiteboard, a flipchart, and a projector. For specific topics, presentation boards, pinboards, televisions, video recorders, and DVD/CD players are available.
Each participant in the IT skills course has access to a PC. Training is conducted using the standard software MS Office, which offers a user-friendly interface, a comprehensive range of functions, and widespread use.
The close relationship with businesses in the region, vocational schools and the relevant chambers (Chamber of Industry and Commerce or Bremen Chamber of Commerce, Chambers of Skilled Crafts) ensures that the type and scope of the technical equipment and teaching materials used are adapted to the requirements of the labor market.
Teaching method
The training in our courses takes place under conditions suitable for adults. Lectures and group work with the possibility of individual support and encouragement, highly practical case studies, practice phases and self-study vary, ensuring a diverse and engaging learning week.
In addition to imparting specialist knowledge, a key focus is on supporting the application process and providing individual coaching to our participants/clients.
Quality management and certification
The development of our training concepts is based on continuous analysis of current economic and labor market demands. Furthermore, our educational and consulting concepts undergo external quality audits to confirm their effectiveness and success before implementation. Our quality management system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008 and is regularly monitored by external bodies. In addition, our organization and our programs are AZAV-certified. The certifying body is Zertpunkt GmbH.
STB is an approved provider by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) for conducting integration courses in accordance with the Immigration Act.
Partners, clients and memberships
We work closely with various companies at each location. These companies provide internships for our course participants, combining theoretical and practical training, and, if they demonstrate the necessary skills, they can find new employment there. We also place clients directly with companies to meet their labor needs. Employment agencies, job centers, and participating municipalities are contractual partners and involved in our daily work.
Furthermore, we are a member of the association of labor market policy service providers in Bremen, VaDiB eV , as well as the state committee and the funding committee for further education.
Financial support
Your participation in a training course may be subsidized by your responsible funding agency. After a consultation with your caseworker and a funding commitment, you will receive a training voucher, which you can then submit to us for redemption.
