The first StoP project in Bremen – pilot site in Osterholz-Tenever

Domestic violence exists in all neighborhoods and across all social classes.
Due to intensive discussions and the commitment of many stakeholders in Osterholz-Tenever, this district was selected as a pilot project.

After a lengthy preparation period, the prevention concept “StoP – Neighborhoods without Partner Violence” has now arrived in Bremen. Networking began in August 2023, and the coordinator's certification was completed in June 2024.

Thanks to the many existing initiatives and active groups in Tenever, a solid foundation exists upon which this concept can be built. Further networking with associations, initiatives, organizations, and dedicated individuals is crucial.
The goal is to create a close-knit network in Tenever that helps to raise awareness, promotes civic courage, and ensures that domestic violence is destigmatized and removed from the private sphere in the long term.
