Promoting mental health

We have been working on this for many years,

• how mental health can be maintained and mental illnesses prevented by positively influencing living conditions,
• how mental balance can be restored,
• how people with severe mental illnesses can cope with their everyday lives

In our consultations, you will learn specifically about the available options and, above all, what contribution you can make to ensure the success of the collaborative process. The ultimate goal is always to develop your own coping skills as quickly as possible.

The Villa Wisch day center is a service for people who are looking for opportunities to socialize or who need advice.

It offers:

• Food and drinks at affordable prices,
• Participation in leisure activities,
• a beautiful summer garden
• Group activities on various topics: Music (singing, drumming, rock session…),
• Exercise, sport, health (QiGong, Nordic walking, football, horse riding, rehabilitation sport, cooking)
• Creative activities (weekly reading hour, painting groups, neighborhood theatre)
• Self-help and therapy options (art therapy, mindfulness group, recovery)
• Employment opportunities in catering and housekeeping, in office services and in the newspaper project "Zwielicht".

Villa Wisch is located directly next to Sebaldsbrück train station and is therefore easily accessible by public transport (stop "Bahnhof Sebaldsbrück", lines 2, 10, 21). Some activities also take place at other locations, such as Hemelingen Town Hall or Hemelingen Community Center. Attendance at the day center is free of charge, meaning no application or assessment process is required.
