Waller Mitte – A place for everyone!
The Waller Mitte, as a citizens' initiative, has been committed to the following goals for more than 15 years:
- Promoting the Waller Mitte as a neighborhood square for movement and encounters for all
- For transparent and binding citizen participation in urban development
- For a vibrant, community-oriented neighborhood with numerous self-organized projects
These include, for example, the Waller Leselust (Waller Reading Pleasure) initiative, the Lebendige Vegesacker (Living Vegesack Initiative), the community garden, the neighborhood choir, the bar centrale, the Waller Wege (Waller Paths) initiative, flea markets, summer festivals and Stadt.Teil.Essen (City.Part.Food).
We are pleased to be involved here as a citizens' initiative and association. Interested and engaged individuals are always welcome.
