Women's Empowerment eV is a newly founded association (established on January 11, 2024) that advocates for gender equality, among other things. Its members represent the business, healthcare, health psychology, social, and educational sectors.
The organization promotes a healthy balance between family, career, health, and private life. It has a multicultural structure and offers counseling in the following languages: Easy German, English (native speakers), French, Italian, Spanish (native speakers), Turkish (native speakers), and sign language. The free counseling services are intentionally designed to be easily accessible.
At the same time, the organization offers networking opportunities and builds bridges between job-seeking women and companies. As a member of the Bremen State Women's Council, the association regularly participates in the programs of the AK Dunkelfeld – Bremen Central Office for the Realization of Gender Equality, with a speaker on violence against women and girls. A collaboration with neighborhood management offices is currently being established. A partnership already exists with the Obervieland Community Center.
