The alz has been operating as a service provider for employment and training since 1984, with a regional focus in Bremen-North. We open up access to employment for unemployed women and men.
We currently provide employment for over 280 people and offer them the opportunity to develop career prospects.
In doing so, we combine the integration of participants into the labor market with the production of socially meaningful products and the provision of economically beneficial services.
Networking and partners
The slogan “alz – service provider for employment and qualification in Bremen-North” expresses our self-image and our purpose orientation.
"For and with" our participants, we strive to improve their integration opportunities in the primary labor market and thus enable them to take up employment subject to social security contributions. To this end, we work closely with other stakeholders in active employment promotion: the Bremen Job Center, the Senator for Economic Affairs, Labour and Europe, and the Bremen-Bremerhaven Employment Agency.
As a member of VaDiB eV (Association of Labor Market Policy Service Providers in Bremen), we participate in fundamental policy considerations and can contribute our experience from daily work. Collaboration with other employment and education providers within the association helps us to incorporate new ideas into our work and thus continuously develop further.
Through memberships in business associations, participation in district group meetings in the neighborhoods and events of political actors, we are closely networked in Bremen-North.
