The Bremen Chamber of Employees advises and supports employees in the state of Bremen on matters relating to work, career, and social security. Anyone employed in Bremen or Bremerhaven is generally automatically a member and can use the advisory services free of charge.

Advice is available on topics including labor law, social security, taxes, education, and professional development. The Chamber of Employees also offers information and support on balancing family and career. This includes, for example, parental leave and parental allowance, maternity protection, caring for relatives, and returning to work.

Furthermore, the Chamber of Employees provides information on workplace health, unemployment, finances, and other topics affecting employees and their families. Its aim is to inform employees about their rights and support them in exercising those rights.

Consultations are available in person at the Bremen-City, Bremen-North, and Bremerhaven locations, as well as by phone and email. The Bremen Chamber of Employees also offers events and informational materials. Continuing education and training courses can be accessed through wisoak, a subsidiary of the Bremen Chamber of Employees.
