The café offers affordable food and drinks and a diverse program. Furthermore, Café Schweizer Viertel serves as a community hub for residents and is used by organizations for events.
The Café Schweizer Viertel is an employment project that introduces female residents of the neighborhood to working life. It is aimed at women affected by unemployment and social exclusion.
They are supported in this by women who, after years of training and further education as well as subsequent professional experience in gastronomy, housekeeping and event services, have switched to the field of vocational training in order to inspire the participants for these fields of work, to pass on their expert knowledge and thus to optimally prepare the women for the primary labor market.
